Liverpool

Liverpool Fast Facts

Liverpool sits at the centre of a regional population of 1.5 million people who drive a regional economy worth approximately £30bn. Liverpool has a young and creative population, with a third of the workforce currently aged 16-19 and a fifth in their 20s. These are the people who are creating businesses which are pushing economic growth onwards in the city. It is no surprise then that data from Centre for Cities’ shows that between 1998 and 2016 Liverpool’s economy grew more than any major British city except London, Edinburgh or Cardif.

The city has been transformed in the past decade by significant public and private investment. The waterfront in particular is stunning.
